OUR PROGRAMS

Effective programs and interventions recognize youths' strengths and determines their weaknesses....this occurs while seeking to promote positive development rather than addressing risks in isolation. Youth who are constructively and collaboratively involved in learning and who are connected to positive adults and peers are less likely to engage in risky, healthy, or self-defeating behaviors. 



Our programs and services encourage students to build self-confidence, articulation, leadership qualities, teamwork, and responsibility as well as more creative-based talents. They focus on the development, strengthening, and mastering of standards in all academic and life lesson areas.

• Nutrition (includes childhood obesity and diabetes)

• Programs for young ladies and young men (grades 4th through 12th grade) who meet the challenges of adolescence into adulthood. This program will promote youth development through social, ethical, emotional, physical, and cognitive competencies.

 The ultimate goal of these programs is not only to reach a critical mass of families who are affected by an incarcerated parent and/or having low-economic status, but to provide a critical mass of services to those families that together help reconstruct a stronger, positive, healthier, more cohesive community.
